Sam's Song

I am so excited to debut this beautiful website that my amazingly talented (and attractive) hubby built for me. For so long I have wanted a place where I can share my music/arrangements and explain a little bit about them and the inspiration behind them. I have felt so strongly that I need to record my music so my future posterity can listen to them.....even if that means stepping out of my comfort zone :) I plan on sharing my hymn/primary arrangements and also my original compositions so I will do my best to record and post them all soon. I really hope you enjoy what you hear! Thank you so much for taking the time to listen and for being a part of this "musical blog."

Since Mother's Day is approaching, I thought the perfect song to share first would be a song I wrote right after I had Sam. I was completely overwhelmed with so many feelings and the intense amount of love I felt for this sweet little baby. I couldn't comprehend my emotions so I sat down at the piano and started to play. I love this song because it reminds me of that life changing moment when I became a mom and the times after when it was just me and him at home together. I love you Sam! Thank you for giving me the greatest gift in the entire world and for making me feel a little piece of what our Heavenly Father feels for us. Unconditional love.
